The London Football Academy employs experienced and energetic coaches who have undergone a rigorous recruitment process. This includes practical coaching assessments and in-depth background checks with relevant governmental bodies.
In selecting our coaches we take time – not liberties.
Our coaching team originates from the UK and is licensed by the English Football Association.
They are FA qualified, trained in emergency aid and are vetted through the Criminal Records Bureau.
The LFA employs both male and female coaches who receive constant, ongoing training and evaluation as part of their coaching development.
We are also proud of our links with local secondary schools and football clubs where we provide work experience and recruit coaching assistants. These valuable members of our team are supervised by qualified coaches at all times.
Many children who have attended our courses have gone on to become assistants, and in some cases, even coaches.
The Academy’s founder and senior coach is Martin Egan. Martin has played semi-pro football and has represented clubs such as Hendon and Barnet. He is also player/coach at Alexandra Park FC who play in the Southern Amateur League.
Martin is a FA/UEFA B qualified coach with over 20 years coaching experience.
